A solid learning process takes learners where they are, guides them to discover what is true, helps them understand it, and then challenges them to do something in response.
This process for young learners happens most appropriately in three steps. Children can explore the theme, learn a Bible story or concept, and respond in age-appropriate ways.
For Toddlers & 2s, this guided discovery and learning is on-going and a part of every learning activity. Each lesson includes three sections:
Three Step Lesson
1. Activity Time (a variety of activities to help teachers guide children to explore the theme)
2. Bible Time (the Bible story or concept with rhymes, songs, and reality-based objects)
3. Discovery Time (more activities to let children continue exploring the lesson theme)
